From 18 June 2025, expiry dates will be added to a lot of certification programmes. For the Microsoft exams we offer, this means the following:
- Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE): Valid for 5 years.
- Microsoft Certified Fundamentals: no expiry date.
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS): Valid for 5 years.
The aim is to always keep the skills and knowledge validated by certification up-to-date. This is fully in line with the current rapid evolution of technologies.
For certifications obtained before 18 June, nothing will change. Test candidates who obtained certification before this date will not see any change to their current certifications, nor will they expire. In other words, your certification will remain valid for life.
