Microsoft announces new AI solutions for education

AI is everywhere and is also finding its way into the education landscape. Not surprisingly, Microsoft also announced a number of things that could be of interest to education at the last BETT conference in London. Although Copilot is not yet available in Europe for students -18, it could certainly be fascinating for a teacher, support worker, supervisor, board member... to get started with it. In light of this, Microsoft introduces agents. Agents take the power of generative AI to the next level. Agents are bots that specialise in one specific topic. You can add these agents in your Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat (yes... a new name for the Copilot you can access with your school account).

Microsoft itself will develop and offer some specific bots such as the 'Teaching' and 'Learning' bot. One specifically for a teacher and one specifically for a learner. The latter is focused on +18 learners for now (for the known reason). In addition, you will also be able to add bots from different partners to your Copilot. In addition, you will also be able to create your own bots.
